Squishy Cookies started the way the best things do: in a home kitchen, with a family that wouldn’t settle for “good enough.”

Every recipe you see here was built from the ground up — no shortcuts, no mixes, no boxes. Just us, our oven, and a stubborn belief that a cookie should stop you in your tracks. Getting there took real work. We baked through more than a thousand cookies and hundreds of cinnamon rolls, tweaking a little more here, a little less there, until each one tasted exactly the way we’d want to serve it to our own. Some batches we’d make again in a heartbeat. Plenty went straight in the trash. That’s the part nobody sees — but it’s the part that made these recipes ours.

What started as a family experiment became a family mission. You’ll usually find us together at the Jensen Beach market on Sundays, behind the pink tent, handing over jumbo cinnamon rolls and our NY-style stuffed cookies still talking about the next flavor we want to try.

Because that’s the thing about doing it from scratch: you never really stop. And we wouldn’t want to.
